Kim Gale, Estate Litigation Lawyer at Gale Law and NCA Network Founder

Kim is lawyer and principal of Gale Law (galelaw.ca) practicing estate litigation in Toronto. She studied law at the City, University of London where she founded a networking group for students from Canada. She worked in the UK at an internationally recognized Bay Street firm.
Through her lonely and frustrating experience in the licensing process, she is deeply passionate about fostering a community for international law students in Toronto.
She is also passionate about making law easy to understand in her blog lawformillennials.com.
Michael Tam, Program Lawyer for Professional Graduate and International Programs at Osgoode Hall Law School

Michael is the Program Lawyer, Professional Graduate & International Programs at Osgoode Professional Development. In this role he develops degree programs, graduate courses, and non-degree education options for lawyers and law students. He is also the academic and career counsellor to all OsgoodePD students. Michael holds an Honours B.Sc (Hons) in Psychology, an LL.B. from the University of Leicester, and an LL.M from the University of Toronto with a focus on human rights. He completed the NCA process in 2013 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015. Michael is a passionate advocate for diversity, inclusion, and equity initiatives.
Samah Nimir, Corporate Lawyer at Jamieson Law

Samah is an associate at Jamieson Law. Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, public and private mergers and acquisitions, and privacy law. Samah received her LLB(Hons) from SOAS (University of London) and her B.A (Double Honours) from McGill University. Prior to joining Jamieson Law, Samah worked for a mid-sized full-service firm in downtown Toronto. Samah has a keen interest in fin-tech and e-commerce, and is the co-founder of a start-up that endeavours to formulate a mechanism to ensure access to the law.
Syed Jawad Quader, Commercial Disputes Lawyer

Syed is a commercial, business and real estate litigator called in Ontario in 2021, Bangladesh in 2009, and England and Wales in 2007. Before moving to Toronto in 2020, he was a litigator and Managing Partner in Bangladesh representing high-value clients in 1000+ commercial and debt recovery litigations, including complex and cross-border litigations worth USD$1-30 million each. While re-qualifying as a lawyer in Ontario, Mr. Quader worked as a Commercial Litigation Consultant at a small but thriving Toronto law firm for 21 months. His work entailed conducting complex research, drafting pleadings and documents, developing legal arguments and written advocacy pieces and suggesting strategies and “next steps” in an assortment of civil litigations. He was made an Associate after he qualified. Mr. Quader was also the Head of Social Media of Global Lawyers of Canada. He is currently qualifying as an arbitrator while working as an independent legal services provider in the GTA.
Kavita V. Bhagat, Family Law Lawyer

Kavita practices in the area of family law as pertains to mediating, negotiating, arbitrating and litigating residential arrangements, child and spousal support, property division and the preparation of domestic contracts. She is a Certified Specialist in Family Law, accredited Family Mediator, Arbitrator, Parenting Coordinator, trained Collaborative Professional and former Panel Lawyer for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer.
Kavita is a Coach / Advisor for the LSO, mentor for Legal Aid Ontario, and now mentor with NCA Network! She is the Treasurer of Peel Mediation-Arbitration and sits on the board of Volunteer Mississauga Brampton Caledon. She also Coaches the Certificate in Family Mediation Program at York University.
